In the first round of singles Janko defeated Santiago Ventura from Spain 3:6 6:3 6:4. In the next round Janko faces Ivan Ljubicic.

In doubles Janko and Andrei Pavel lost to Kohlschreiber/Skoch 1:6 2:6.

In the second round Janko defeated 3 seeded player Andy Murray 6:4 7:5. Moreover he came back from 2:5 in the second set and broke for 7:5!

The quaterfinal match Janko Tipsarevic-Radek Stepanek will be the second match on center court today, not before 13:00 (moscow time).

Unfortunately Janko and Misha Youzhny lost their doubles match against Pavel Vizner and Lukas Dlouhy 3:6 6:7(7).

Serbia leads 2-1 in Davis Cup Play Offs 2007. The first match win Novak Djokovic (vs. Peter Luzcak) 6:1 6:4 6:2. The second match was the match Tipsarevic-Hewitt, unfortunately Janko lost this five-sets match 2:6 6:3 6:4 1:6 1:6. And yesterday was the doubles match Djokovic/Zimonjic vs. Hanley/Hewitt 3:6 6:4 6:3 6:2.
